Car Bomb Attack Kills a Police and Many Wounded in Turkey

At least one police officer has been reported dead and several others wounded following a car bomb attack in Turkey on Sunday, at a police headquarters at Gaziantep from where police have frequently raided suspected ISIS militants, security and state officials have confirmed.

As a result of the incident, several ambulances and fire engines were mobilized to the scene as sound of gun firing could be heard at the time of the explosion.

No armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Turkey has been facing numerous security threats on several fronts as the country battles ISIS in Syria and the Kurdish PKK militants in the South east.
